Fellas,

I had to reformat my hard drive and start from scratch after an unfixable problem occurred. I've reinstalled win2kPro and all the updates to include DX9b. I plugged in all my USB devices and then ran CH Manager. I tried to create a 'map' for IL2 and this is the results:

When I start my computer 'Control Panel/Gaming Options' recognizes USB:
CH-Throttle, CH-Pedals, CH-Combatstick

When I open Control Manager v3.00 I 'see' all three devices and can calibrate them

When I 'download' my IL2 map it only 'see's' Control Manager Device 1 as does 'Control Panel/Gaming Options'

If I click the 'Direct Mode' button, Control mnagaer see all 3 devices again.

PLEASE HELP! I haven't flown in 5 days! I'm Jones'n man!

That sounds like it's probably perfectly normal. It will happen if you've got the map set up to combine your controllers into a single joystick (Control Manager Device 1). Go back and look at the assignments in your map. If the "DX Device" boxes that are actually used all reference "CM Device 1", then what you'll get is a single Control Manager Device when the map is running. You have to reference CM Device 2 and CM Device 3 if you want all three devices to show up. Did you happen to tell the Map Wizard you wanted it to make a Combined map or use the Controller Wizard to combine the controllers somewhere along the line?

I got it bro. Now I just gotta figure out how to set-up the brakes for both toes and make the ministick a 'mouse' again :D

Well, I'll let someone else figure the brakes, but the mouse is easy. Pick the Microstick in the middle view so you get the X and Y axes for the Pro Throttle. Leave them set to X and Y, but where it says CM Device 1 in the "DX Device" box, just scroll down to the bottom of the list. Down below CM Device 16 it says "Mouse". Set that for the X and Y and download again.

Skip the Search function... HERE (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=42&hl=brakes) is the thread you started about IL-2's brakes a while back. :)
