Had my mother-board die. So I replaced it and had to reload windows. When I tried to use control manager the download button was grayed out and and could not get any profile to work. So I unistalled it and tried to re-install,I unzipped the files and when I click on setup I get this message!
Can't run 16-bit windows program
cannot find file c:\chinstall\setup.exe(or one of its component).Check to insure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.
Any clues to what is going on?

It seems to me that message about the 16-bit file shows up when you try to unzip the self-extractor rather than letting it extract itself. That might be what's wrong. Also, remember you have to download a file before the Mapped Mode button will light up. Immediately after an install, there's no file there to activate and the Mapped Mode button is greyed out.

Yea well I had installed over window so everything was intact and should of been working. I un-zipped it using the exe, I dont have win-zip. Anyway I searched the net and finally came across a solution, so if anyone else has this problem this is what worked for me.
Simply exe the file to your root dir. (ie C:/ instead of CHInstall)and run it from there. Worked like a charm. I now have it all up and running good as new!
