I'm having a problem getting my CH Pro Throttle to increase and decrease throttle gradually in Aces High. Right now it goes from full throttle to no throttle. I've calibrated the Throttle in windows and in Aces High 2. In windows it acts like it should. As I move throttle up it moves up incrementally and the reverse. In Aces High it just goes from full to no throttle. Can you help me? I use CH Control Manager v3.00 to setup my stick. I also test and calibrate it in there and it functions normally. HELP!!!!

Do you have any other games?

What chipset is your USB host controller?

Are you using a USB hub?

What is the coefficent of drag?

40Dog:

One possibility (albeit unliikely) is that your throttle sensitivity sliders are messed up inside of AH. For the throttle, they probably should be set flat, with all of the sliders maxed out. If you've got all but the last one or two sliders at the bottom of their slider scales, you'd probably see the sort of response you describe. You might also check that AH's throttle deadband and smoothing values are zero (or nearly so, in the case of smoothing). You probably know all of this, but I'm hard pressed to think of another explanation.

Some questions about your set up:

Is this the same map that you used in AH (i.e., did the strange behavior just start when you started playing AH2)?

When does the response transition from zero to full throttle in AH2?

Is it at the bottom of you're throttle's range, the middle, or near the top?

Are you using a script with a cms axis (e.g., cms.a1) to control the throttle?

Have you combined your controllers into one CM Device or do you have multiple devices?

Sorry I can't be more helpful. If anything else occurs to me, I'll post it.

JNOV,

This is pretty much the same map except I purchased the CH USB hotas and mapped my stick and throttle using CH Manager v3.00. My throttle worked normally when I was using old setup that wasn't USB. Problem started with the USB setup.

Transition from full throttle to zero throttle occurs in the middle.

I'm not using a cms axis to control my throttle.

I have not combined my devices.

P.S.....My apologies for responding so late to your reply. I appreciate your trying to help me.

I'm not sure what's going on, but if you post your map, I'll take a look at it, load it on my controllers, and check it out.
