Hi -

I restarted with the boot disk in, and had no problem calibrating my Fighterstick.

However, when entering Windows, though the device is still seen, its movements are not.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Andrew

Turner,

What are your system specs, I assume you are using windows XP. Does your system have integrated sound with a gameport? Most important, when where you no longer able to use the devices and what did you do pryor to this happening?

Hi Bruce -

XP Pro - clean install - there is NOTHING else yet!
Dell Dimension XPS T500, upgraded to Tualatin (Celeron) 1.2GHz
Diamond Viper 770 Ultra 32
384Ram
Sound Blaster Live! Value
Gamecard III Automatic

In 98SE the devices worked well. Installing XP seems to be the culprit.

Thanks so much for your help!

Andrew

Turner,

Microsoft states they provide the drivers for Gamecard 3. Driver listing (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q295/3/18.asp&NoWebContent=1). Before we go further, I would suggest going to "control panel", then click on "system", then the "hardware tab" and followed by "device manager" to see if the game card or sound card are red flagging. Best to make sure Microsoft installed the drivers for the gamecard and that you dont have any conflicts with the soundcard.

Turner,

If you live in the U.S. and need a walk through on how to check the devices, you can P.M me a phone number and hours to reach and I can walk you through it. Free Long distance :D

Thanks Bruce -

I'm pretty good at setting stuff up, usually... ;)

I'll take another look to see that I have my ducks in a row, and if not, I may take you up on your offer!

Cheers
Andrew
