Yet Another faliure to install software !!

Thanks Mr Michael for your reply to my email, but I still cant get past that bloody windows subsystem box that appears where ever I unzip to be it C:\ or any where else on either of my 2hard drives.Have you got an unzipped version of the manager I can download from any where?
Any other suggestions guys?

Michael,

The original cm3v300i.zip (not EXE) file is still on the 'net if you think that would help. It was put together with PKZip V2.50, should be compatible with most anything.

One other thought - Firebird wasn't that unzip thing that only pulled Setup.exe out of the zip is it? It looked like a folder but in fact it was just a zip listing and if you ran the file directly all it did was to pull Setup.exe out of the zip and run that, but it left the other 14 or so files zipped and so it didn't really work too well. It used to give that sort of error as I recall.

What files do you need? I've got a zipped copy of CHCMv3i here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/files/CH_Files/CHCMv3i.zip), if that fails I could stick a copy on CD for you and drop it over sometime over the weekend to help a fellow Welshman out :)

Diolch un fawr Revvin, I downloaded your zip mate but when I click on the set up icon I still get the Windows subsystem error message of the above post.Have you got the unzipped file ?If I send you my email addy then perhaps I can arrange to bring you a cd for you to burn.That is if you live in South Wales

Sorted oh great gurus !
I did a search for the autoexec.nt and config nt files and found that they had been sent to the windows repair folder,from there I copied the files back into System32 sub folder clicked install on CHC set up icon and whoopie frikken do it bloody worked!A pint of Brains to all concerned!
Revvin will know what I mean by Brains!
