Hi,
My brand new Pro Throttle USB does not register range of motion correcetly. The lowest it will go is 5, and highest is 222. All other CH peripherals work perfectly.
Is this a software problem? It would suck if my new hardware is defective. I wanted to calibrate, but the Test/Calibrate option under CH Control Manager only lets me 'Test Only'
With the throttle fully back, this is what the Test Only screen sees.

Never mind, I just realized you need to separate your controllers in order to calibrate them :)

No problem brother. ;)
I trust all is well now that you calibrated?

Yeah, except I have to re-calibrate every time I plug the throttle :-(

Are you short on USB ports?

I have the same exact problem, or rather the same exacts results.
This problem has followed me from my Athlon 700 running Win98SE and CM 1.0, (maybe 2.0) to my new Athlon 64 with WinXP and CM 3.0. I can calibrate the individual controls easily, but I can't do squat for the CM Device 1.
Is there a fix for this?
I have always sworn by and recommended Bob's CTFJ, is there somthing like that to fix my contrtiol manager device?
Thanks,

Actually, most of CTFJ is built-in. Look on the Axis Settings tab when you're calibrating one of the regular devices, some of it shouldn't look too unfamiliar. :)
WRT to calibrating Control Manager devices, you're not supposed to do it. If the direct-mode devices are calibrated, the Control Manager devices should be calibrated, too. The calibration of the direct-mode devices should result in them delivering "perfect" data to the Control Manager devices. Control Manager devices can't be calibrated because Windows calibration stops the CM from being able to change device configurations.
Are the Direct Mode devices calibrated when you restart? If they are, the Mapped Mode devices should be, too. Activate the map so you've got Control Manager devices active. Run the Test/Calibration applet from the GUI and look over on the Raw Data display. The Raw Data for a CM Device is the scaled and centered data from the Direct Device. You should be seeing ranges there of 0 to 255 with a center value of 128 if the axis is of the centering variety. Are those values off? If they are, what Raw Data values do you see for the Direct Devices right after you restart? In Direct Mode, you're looking at the actual values from the stick or whatever when you check the Raw Data. The yellow cursor is showing you the output of that scaling, it's effectively tracking what will be the Raw Data for the Control Manager devices when you activate the map, should be in the middle for axes that center, and it should go from one edge to the other.
